DUAL VEHICLE LOOP DETECTOR WITH

DIAGNOSTIC PORT

The LD210 is a dual channel inductive loop detector. The use of microprocessor based technology enables a large number of functions to be incorporated into a small package.

Typical applications include safety loops, arming loops and entry or exit loops.

Standard features of the detector are :

· Diagnostic Port.

This range of detectors has a built in diagnostic port which allows the Procon Diagnostic Unit DU01 to be connected. The diagnostic unit displays all configuration and functional data such as loop frequency, change in inductance, switch settings, etc.

 

· Switch selectable Sensitivity.

Eight sensitivity settings are available on the switches to allow flexibility in configuration.

1 High 0.01% 5   0.2%
2   0.02% 6   0.5%
3   0.05% 7   1%
4   0.1% 8 Low 2%

· Pulse Relay Selection.

The detect relay may be configured for a pulse output, and to energise on detection of a vehicle or when the vehicle leaves the loop.

· Selectable N/O or N/C relay output.

Internal jumpers enable the output relay contacts to be configured for normally open or normally closed contacts.

· Direction Logic

This feature enables the detector to give a pulse output on relay1 for a vehicle traveling from loop1 to loop2 and a pulse output on relay 2 for a vehicle traveling from loop2 to loop1.

· Selectable Extend Time.

When switched on this feature extends the output for 2 Seconds.

· Loop Fault Indicator.

This LED Indicator is illuminated when the loop is either open circuit or short circuit and is used to give a visual indication of a faulty loop.

LD210 - 220VAC (+/- 15% ) 50Hz.
LD211 - 110VAC (+/- 15% ) 60Hz.
LD212 - 12/24VAC/DC (+/- 15%).

2. PRESENCE/PULSE RELAY : 0.5A/220VAC.

3. INDICATOR: LED indicator which shows state of loop detector.

4. DETECTOR TUNING RANGE: 15 - 1500 uH.

5. PROTECTION: Loop isolation transformer with zener diode and MOV.

6. CONNECTOR: 11 Pin Connector on rear of unit.

7. DIMENSIONS: 85mm (HIGH) X 40mm (WIDE) X 79mm (DEEP)

8. OPERATING TEMPERATURE: -40°C to +80°C

9. STORAGE TEMPERATURE: -40°C to +85°C

10. HUMIDITY: up to 95% non condensing

11. Complies with EMC Directive 89/336/EEC and Low Voltage Equipment Directive 73/23/EEC.
